Welcome to a day of travelling for 24 hours, as we get to enjoy the worlds longest airline route Sydney to London, oh the joys buuuut......It beats walking
We departed Sydney on yet another warped crazy soggy day but our spirits were high and excited. After 4 hours or so we were reminded just how big our lil island just is..... we were still flying over Western Australia with the occasional bush-fires burning off into the distance.
Singapore was .......Singapore Bit warm and sticky The most memorable bit of useless info is Changi Airport has the most dated retro shaggy carpet that will put any club house to shame.
Then the mother trip. A easy 14 hours glued to the chairs awaits. Fatigue and tiredness smacks us as it nears midnight as we queue, then queue and board ......again But as we set off in pitch black and head west...ish its a race between us and the sun as to who gets to London first. Mother Nature of course won.
The welcome to London was mighty. She greeted us with a crisp breeze & clear blue skies that made the crew stoked ...... Now its time to recoup, stretch the legs maybe a pint and practice our English accents but our first day of build is just around the corner.
